Families and school groups can visit Circle S Farm this autumn for photo ops, mazes, barn slides, hayrides, and a trip to the pumpkin patch during Fall Fun Days.

Circle S is a family owned and operated farm featuring pick-your-own strawberries and raspberries, locally processed gourmet bakery items, and seasonal fun for central Ohio families. Each October, families can visit the farm for Fall Fun Days.

Fall Fun Days at Circle S Farms

Every fall from late September to late October, Circle S Farm hosts Fall Fun Days, an autumn harvest celebration for families of all ages. It includes fun activities, treats, hayrides, and pumpkin picking.

Not a Halloween Celebration

Fall Fun Days at Circle S is a fall harvest celebration, not a Halloween celebration. Co-owner Ethel Sullivan recognizes that some families may not celebrate Halloween or may just be "looking for a place to celebrate without your kids being exposed to witches [and so on.]" Fall fun at Circle S is appropriate for all ages and is safe for even the youngest of children.

Circle S Fall Festival Activities

After entering Circle S Farms for Fall Fun Days, families are free to explore the farm at their own pace. Families with kids will also want to stop at at Fodder Lane, where kids can climb on haybales, a tractor, and other fall decor. It's perfect for photo ops, so don't forget the camera! Visitors can:

  • explore the corn and sunflower mazes
  • run through the haybale cave maze (keep a close eye on small children who may get stuck)
  • slide into piles of hay in the fun barn
  • take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to select a pumpkin
  • get donuts, baked goods, and cider at the bake store.

Since each guest only gets one hayride, the best idea is to save it for last. After picking a pumpkin, riders can get dropped off right at the parking lot.

Admission and Hours for Fall Fun Days 2009

Circle S will be open from 9 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week during Fall Fun Days in 2009. General admission is $8 per person, plus $3 for an optional pumpkin to take home from the pumpkin patch.

Field trips and school groups of 10 or more people can make a reservation ahead of time and receive a special Monday through Friday group rate of $6 per person, which includes a pumpkin.
